The Comparative Health Outcomes, Policy, and Economics (CHOICE) Institute, housed within the Department of Pharmacy, offers a distance learning certificate, Master s degree, and Doctoral degree program in Health Economics and Outcomes Research. The CHOICE graduate programs include preparation in the academic disciplines essential to assessment of the health, cost outcomes and comparative effectiveness of health policies and medical interventions. Students attend courses in the fields of biostatistics, clinical trial design and analysis, health economics, epidemiology, and health policy in order to gain an in-depth understanding of the complex and interdisciplinary environment of outcomes research.
