Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Last updated:

This page is for California residents exercising rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

The short answer: we do not sell your data

zovrā does not sell personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration, as those terms are defined in the CCPA. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not participate in third-party ad-network tracking.

If you want to verify what we do collect and how we use it, see our full Privacy Policy.

What we DO share (and with whom)

We share specific data with third-party processors who help us run the service. These transfers do not constitute a “sale” under CCPA because the processors act on our behalf under contractual restrictions, not as independent recipients selling the data for their own purposes:

  • Database & authentication
  • Hosting
  • Transactional email delivery
  • Bot-protection (captcha)
  • Crash & error monitoring
  • Anonymous product analytics

Each is bound by data-processing agreements requiring them to use the data only to provide their service to us, not to monetise it themselves. See the categories of processors in our Privacy Policy section 4; we can provide the names of our current processors on request.

Your rights as a California resident

  • Right to delete- request deletion of your personal information (subject to specific exceptions in CCPA §1798.105(d), e.g. records we’re legally required to retain)
  • Right to correct - request correction of inaccurate personal information
  • Right to opt out of sale or sharing- although we don’t sell or share for cross-context behavioural advertising in the first place, you have the right to direct us not to - this page is that direction
  • Right to limit use of sensitive personal information- direct us to limit use of sensitive PI to what’s necessary to provide the service
  • Right to non-discrimination - we may not deny you service, charge different prices, or provide different quality because you exercised any of these rights
