How zovrā Works
zovrā is a discovery platform for international migration. Tell us about your move and we surface the visa routes, university programs, scholarships, and sponsored jobs that fit - no Googling 12 different government sites required. Here’s the full picture of how that actually works.
The four flows
1. Find my Visa
A 5-step wizard that takes your citizenship, your destination country, your current visa status (if any), and what you want to do there (work, study, family, business, retirement, ancestry, or just exploring). We return the visa routes that match. Each route card shows:
- What the visa is (plain language summary)
- Difficulty rating (easy / medium / hard)
- Processing time
- Approximate cost (in local currency)
- How long the visa lasts + whether it leads to permanent residency
- Key eligibility requirements
- A direct link to the official government page
If you’re switching visas within the same country (e.g. student → work in the UK), use the in-country switch flow instead - it focuses on the routes that don’t require leaving.
2. Find my School
Pick a destination, a field of study, and a qualification level (undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, vocational). We show universities in that country with programs matching your field and level, including:
- City + region (so you can filter by location)
- Ranking (where available)
- Specific programs that match your field × level
- Direct links to each program page on the university website
3. Find Scholarships
Scholarships and funding opportunities filtered by destination, field of study, and level. Each scholarship card shows the funding amount, eligibility, deadline (when published), and application link.
4. Sponsoring Employers
Jobs in your destination country that come with visa sponsorship - meaning the employer can sponsor your work visa (e.g. Skilled Worker in the UK, H-1B in the US, TSS 482 in Australia). Filter by industry and experience level.
How our data works
Curated, not scraped
We don’t scrape the open web and present the noise. Every visa route, every university, every scholarship, every job listing on zovrā has been added to our catalogue and reviewed before it’s published. The base entries are hand-curated against official government sources, university websites, and scholarship provider portals.
Targeted refresh
Immigration rules change frequently. Our automated checks revisit specific fields - fees, processing times, link health - on a schedule so the catalogue doesn’t drift. When a government page returns a 404 or a fee changes, we flag the entry for re-verification.
Single source of truth
Everything you see on zovrā comes from our curated catalogue. We don’t blend in AI-generated content. We don’t show ad-network listings. When a destination or visa route isn’t in our catalogue yet, the page says so honestly instead of fabricating filler.
What to expect
What we DO
- Aggregate publicly available information from official sources into one searchable place
- Match your specific profile (citizenship × destination × intent) to relevant routes
- Link to the official source for every piece of information
- Save your searches + recently-viewed items (when you sign in)
- Send you an unobtrusive weekly digest about your destinations (opt-in only - never automatic)
What we DON’T do
- Give legal advice. zovrā is not a lawyer or migration agent. See our Disclaimer.
- Prepare or submit visa applications on your behalf
- Represent you with any government agency
- Guarantee visa outcomes
- Sell your personal data (see our Privacy Policy)
Before you make a decision
Always verify with the official government source for the country in question, and ideally talk to a registered migration agent or immigration lawyer for advice on your specific circumstances. Immigration law changes frequently and is jurisdiction-specific - what was true when our last refresh ran may not be true today.
Pricing
zovrā is free to use today. The core search functionality will always be free. When we add premium tools or refer you to a registered migration agent we’ll be explicit about it. We will never insert sponsored content into search results without clear “Sponsored” labelling. See our About page for more.
