The Doctor of Clinical Psychology is a professional doctorate, preparing you for a career as a clinical psychologist.
Entry to a doctoral degree (PhD) normally requires a master's degree or a bachelor's (honours) degree in a relevant field with a University of Auckland equivalent grade of B+ or better. Applicants submit a preliminary research proposal and, ideally, identify a prospective supervisor whose research aligns with their project (some faculties require a confirmed supervisor before you apply). International applicants must also meet the University's English language requirements.
