The Department of Environmental Sciences and Engineering in the Gillings School of Global Public Health focuses on the interface between people and the environment. Uniquely situated in a school of public health, the department combines the physical sciences, health sciences, engineering, and policy to develop solutions to current and emerging environmental challenges.
