About this programme
Film and history have been intertwined since the invention of the moving image at the beginning of the 20th century. On this History and Film Studies BA, you’ll examine how film has been used to depict history in genres such as documentary and propaganda films and explore the fascinating history of cinema. There will also be opportunities to access the East Anglian Film Archive, where you’ll be able to use materials to create a film of your own. This course also gives you the exciting opportunity to enormously enhance your employability by spending your third year in a work placement.
