On this English and American Literature degree, you’ll study the wealth of literature from both countries, examine the interchanges between the two, and explore the many fascinating aspects in which they differ. You’ll acquire a broad understanding of a wide range of writers, genres and styles from both sides of the Atlantic, studying in a world-renowned UNESCO City of Literature. BA English and American Literature with a Placement Year also gives you the exciting opportunity to enormously enhance your employability by spending your third year in a work placement.
