About this programme

Students on the Classics, Art History and Archaeology pathway will benefit from the inter-disciplinary study of the visual arts, archaeology, and material culture from prehistory and antiquity to the present day. In Classics, you will use literary and historical analysis along with the visual and material evidence to reconstruct the lost worlds of the Greek and Roman past; in Art History, you will learn the skills of visual analysis and learn how to read images in their social and cultural context; and in Archaeology, you will learn the principles and practices of archaeological approaches to material culture and landscapes in order to explore past human societies.
