About this programme
The BEd West Kootenay Teacher Education (WKTEP) option is a 12-month post-degree program that provides curriculum, instruction, and practicum coursework in either Elementary or Secondary teaching. Students who complete the requirements for the BEd Elementary program or the BEd Secondary program (specializing in 1-2 teachable subjects) and who are eligible to graduate are recommended to the Teacher Regulation Branch for a professional teaching certificate.
