About this programme
Changes in society go hand in hand with changes in art and culture. In this track, you engage with philosophical texts and theories by some of the greatest thinkers to gain a deeper understanding of the relationship between society, art, and culture. Drawing on diverse philosophical traditions, including works by continental, analytic, and non-canonical authors, you explore the role of art and culture in times of rapid political, social, technological, and environmental change. Philosophy of Art and Culture is a track of the MA Philosophy and can also be followed part-time.
