- Fees and funding Apply Course details Each unique Masters in Surgery (MCh) project is carried out over a minimum of one year and a maximum of two years for full-time scholars, or a minimum of two years and a maximum of four years for part-time scholars. Within this time you will be guided through your research project with the support of your supervisors and the RCSI School of Postgraduate Studies. This MCh Level 9 NFQ major award is accredited by RCSI and the National University of Ireland.
