About this programme
Queen’s Department of History offers two graduate degree programs: a Master of Arts (MA) with options to write a research essay or a thesis, and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). Students read cutting-edge scholarship and work with primary sources in small, graduate-only seminars, and have the opportunity to carry out research in a wide range of thematically and geographically-defined fields of inquiry.
