A one-year full-time (or two-year part-time) programme providing advanced knowledge and skills in dental therapy and dental hygiene practice.
Admission: Admission to the programme shall be subject to the approval of the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Health Sciences). Every applicant must have been awarded the degree of Bachelor of Oral Health from the University of Otago with an average grade of at least B or have alternative qualifications or experience acceptable to the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Health Sciences); and be registered in at least one of the scopes of oral health therapy, dental hygiene, or dental therapy in their country of practice or residance. Admission to the programme is limited to a maximum of six candidates annually.
