The hotel and tourism industry is New Zealand's second-largest export earner. Travel and tourism continue to grow across the globe, contributing roughly $12 trillion to the world's economy with aims to double that by 2034. There is strong demand for degree-qualified hotel and tourism managers who can drive sustainable growth while enhancing visitor experiences.
International applicants need a secondary-school qualification equivalent to New Zealand University Entrance. Recognised equivalents include Cambridge International A-levels (around 120 UCAS tariff points, with English and Maths at IGCSE), a completed IB Diploma with at least 24 points, and other approved national qualifications assessed country-by-country. Some programmes require specific subjects to have been studied at school, and applicants whose first language is not English must also meet Lincoln's English language requirements.
