Programme facts

International Admission (Spring 2027 guide): submit ONE of
A. Korean: TOPIK/TOPIK iBT score report, or a Korean-language course completion certificate from KU KLC / an IEQAS-university language centre / King Sejong Institute (intermediate);
B. English: a TOEFL iBT (incl. Home Edition) or IELTS Academic score report - 'For International Studies major, English language qualification is mandatory'; or C. full secondary education completed in Korean or English medium. No minimum score is stated for admission. Korean-training gate after entry: TOPIK Level 5+ = no restrictions;
Level 4 = one semester of mandatory Korean training;
Level 3 or below = two semesters and no major courses. Global Open Major assignment requires 'TOPIK level 5 (Korean) or IELTS 7.0 or TOEFL iBT 100 or higher.' One intake per year: Spring (March).
