About this programme
The major requires completion of language courses through Advanced Italian I and II (AS.210.351 Advanced Italian I-AS.210.352 Advanced Italian II), and four to five additional courses, depending on the linguistic track the student chooses (regular, or accelerated). A minimum of 15 credits counting toward the major must be taken at the 300 or 400 level. At least two upper-level courses with the POS-Tag MLL-PITAL or MLL-MITAL at the 300 or 400 level must be taken in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures. All major requirements must be completed with a grade of C- or better and may not be taken satisfactory/unsatisfactory.
