About this programme

To complete an anthropology major, students must complete a total of 44 credits (14 courses) in Anthropology and foreign language through the intermediate level. Only with permission of the director of undergraduate studies may students use one class taken at another institution not directly equivalent to a JHU course towards the major. Students must take completed course materials to the director of undergraduate studies to discuss if a non-equivalent transfer course can apply towards the major. Majors must receive a grade of C or better in all major requirements and no major requirements may be taken satisfactory/unsatisfactory.
