About this programme
The study of history is the study of change and continuity in human society through time. Glasgow offers a wide-ranging programme from medieval to modern times and across the globe. Teaching draws on research expertise in Scottish, British, European, US and global history; slavery studies; gender history; and war, intelligence and genocide studies. The programme is a four-year Honours degree (MA/MA(SocSci)) with a September start at the Gilmorehill campus.

- Scottish Higher minimum BBBB from S5; typically offers at AAAAB by end of S6. A-level standard ABB–BBB with English or Humanities subject. IB 34 (6,5,5) with English HL6 or Humanities HL6 with English SL6. Additional requirements include Higher English and a Higher Humanities subject.
