About this programme

Fields of Specialization: Cancer, Cell Biology, Immunology and Microbiology; Protein Science and Molecular Biology; Neurosciences and Endocrinology; Food Sciences and Chinese Medicine. MPhil students must complete a minimum of 39 units including lecture, thesis research and seminar courses, submit a thesis and pass an oral examination. PhD students must pass a candidacy examination within 24 months of entry and complete additional unit requirements depending on whether they enter with a research master's degree.
