The Department of Haematology is located on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus. Research in the department falls into three main areas with major relevance for human disease: The Haematopoiesis and Blood Cancer Group, the Structural Medicine and Thrombosis Group, and the Transfusion Medicine Group. The haematology research groups belonging to the Cambridge Stem Cell Institute moved into a brand new purpose-built facility on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus in 2019.
