The first two years provide a foundational core, while years three and four allow for specialisation. The Performance and Wellbeing stream combines research theory with applied areas like strength and conditioning, psychology, and nutrition.
Applicants wishing to transfer onto this programme will typically have successfully completed Year 1 and Year 2 of the Sport and Exercise (Common Entry) or hold a Level 6 Higher Certificate in a related programme. Standard applicants will present a qualification at an appropriate level on the National Framework of Qualifications. Non-standard applicants must present equivalent Higher Education awards, i.e. those that have the necessary number of ECTS credits and/or appropriate learning outcomes.
