About this programme
This four-year BSc (Hons) in Mental Health Nursing offered in conjunction with HSE West and the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI), has been developed in response to the changing mental health needs of the Irish population. The role of the mental health nurse is to foster the health and well-being of individuals experiencing changes in their mental health status. All places offered in this programme are subject to satisfactory Garda vetting clearance and health screening.
