The purpose of this new engineering degree programme is to provide the Data Centre industry with staff who are qualified to provide the proficient and in-depth skills necessary for the technical management and operation of data centre facilities. Expert operation and maintenance of these facilities is crucial, in order to maintain 24/7 services with optimum energy efficiency.
A Higher Certificate award in a related technical disciplineOrA Senior Trades Craft Apprenticeship in a related discipline and a minimum five years’ relevant industrial experience.In conjunction with this, students must hold a Maths qualification* that enables them to undertake the Maths module on this specific programme.Applicants must be proficient in English**Other suitable applicants may be accepted after interview.
