Statistics CDT Studentships

Who it is for

• All applicants should have, or expect to obtain, a bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Statistics, or in a subject containing a substantial mathematical component.
• The minimum entry requirement is a 2:1 class degree or equivalent grades from universities outside the UK.
• The Statistics CDT Studentships provide full coverage of fees (at the Home or Overseas rate, as applicable), plus a maintenance stipend paid at the UKRI rate for 4 years of full-time study.
• Additionally, all CDT-funded students receive a generous Research Training Support Grant of up to £4,000 for workshops, conferences, and a study visit, plus the provision of a laptop.

• Studentships allocated by the Department of Statistics are awarded on a case-by-case basis, with no formal deadlines for application.
• Decisions on these studentships are made internally by the Department of Statistics.
