• Split-site PhD ScholarshipsSplit-site PhD Scholarships for graduates from Commonwealth countries.
• Applicants must have a place at an eligible Commonwealth country University, linked to a UK university.This programme is currently under review and will not be running in 2026.
• Commonwealth Split-site Scholarships are for candidates from low and middle income Commonwealth countries.
• This is as classified by the OECD Development Assistance Committee (DAC).
• They are intended to support candidates to conduct research at a university in the UK for 12 months.
• The scholarships are intended for high-quality graduates from Least Developed and middle- income countries, who could not otherwise afford to study in the UK.
• Such graduates will have the potential to become influential leaders, teachers, or researchers in their home countries.
