• a stipend of $37,450 per annum tax exempt (2026 rate)a relocation allowance of $500-1,500 (for single to family) for students moving from interstateFor international students, the awardee will also receive:tuition fees offset for the duration of four yearssingle Overseas Student Health Cover policy for the duration of the student visa.
• Research aim This project aims to address gaps in our knowledge of invertebrate endemism in the forests of south-eastern Australia and how we should approach their conservation.
• It will contribute to a large field program sampling litter invertebrates and using genetic and morphological identification approaches to document species distributions.
• Key objectives are:Establish relative significance of upland forest for narrow range endemic speciesDetermine environmental drivers of species delimitationDetermine the efficacy of litter transplants in re-establishing faunaIdentify new areas where narrow range endemic ||| Am I eligible?
