Working on this visa

Once granted a residence permit, accompanying family members may take employed and self-employed work without special authorisation (Lei Art 83(1)(b)-(c)); no work entitlement is stated for the 4-month visa period itself.

Bringing family

Family of a residence-visa applicant (spouse, children, dependent ascendants, partner; Arts 99(1)/100(1) per DR84 24-B(2)) may apply simultaneously with the main applicant (Art 58(5)). Family of existing residents use D6 instead.
