What it is
Visa regime for nationals of states where the Agreement on Mobility between Member States of the Community of Portuguese-Speaking Countries (signed in Luanda, 17 July 2021) is in force. CPLP citizens may be exempt from showing means of subsistence on presentation of a term of responsibility.

Key requirements
- National visa application form, signed
- Two recent passport photos
- Passport valid for 3 months beyond the intended return
- Proof of regular status if applying outside your country of nationality
- Criminal record certificate (applicants 16+), apostilled or legalised
- National of a state where the CPLP Mobility Agreement is in force
Bringing family
Family reunification (members per Art 99(1)) requires a residence permit held at least 2 years (Art 98(1), Lei 61/2025); waived for minors/incapacitated dependants and other Art 98(3) cases.
