Key requirements

  • Aged 18 or above
  • Foreign national, or Chinese national with permanent residence in a foreign country, or Macao SAR resident
  • Net assets of not less than HKD 30 million throughout 6 months preceding application
  • Invest minimum HKD 27 million in permissible financial assets and/or real estate
  • Place HKD 3 million into the New CIES Investment Portfolio managed by HKIC
  • No criminal record or adverse immigration record
  • Investment must be maintained throughout the period of stay
