- Sponsor holds valid employment, TTPS, QMAS, IANG, or other approved visa in HK, or is a permanent resident
- Sponsor able to support the dependant at a standard well above subsistence level
- Reasonable accommodation in Hong Kong
- No security objection and no known record of serious crime
