Key requirements
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or registered Indian, aged 18+
- Have previously submitted an Interest-to-Sponsor form and be invited to apply
- Meet the Minimum Necessary Income (MNI) threshold for the past 3 tax years
- Sign an undertaking promising 20 years of financial support (10 years in Quebec)
- Live in Canada at the time of application
