Already have a Bachelor's degree but want to start a career in Nursing? The Master of Nursing Practice enables graduates from a wide range of disciplines to apply for registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand to practise as a Registered Nurse.
Entry requirements
Entry to a taught master's or postgraduate programme normally requires a recognised bachelor's degree in a relevant subject, typically with a B-minus to B-plus grade average. Some schools require a bachelor's degree with honours to demonstrate research capability, and admission is assessed relative to the NZ grading standard. International applicants must also satisfy the University's English-language requirements.
