About this programme

The world is full of stories that need to be told. Get the industry skills you need to become a communications specialist and weave stories with digital threads using a wide range of technologies, from websites and apps to films, podcasts and more.

Entry requirements

International applicants must hold a secondary-school qualification equivalent to New Zealand University Entrance. Recognised pathways include Cambridge International A-Levels (typically three passes at grade C or above), the IB Diploma (minimum 24 points), or a recognised national school-leaving qualification; a NZ university foundation programme is also accepted. Many degrees have prerequisites on their core papers, so some programmes require specific school subjects (you may need additional or foundation papers if you lack them). Applicants whose first language is not English must also meet the University's English-language requirements.
