Master of Food Science

About this programme

The MFoodSci provides students with the opportunity to gain specialist knowledge and skills in the key aspects of Food Science, including food chemistry, food safety and food process engineering.

Entry requirements

• Admission to a taught postgraduate or master's programme normally requires a completed bachelor's degree from a recognised university, or an acceptable overseas equivalent. Entry is competitive and based on your prior academic record — you will typically need a good grade average (commonly a B average or better), with more selective programmes requiring more. Some programmes have additional requirements such as relevant work experience, or portfolios/auditions for creative fields. International applicants must also meet the University's English language requirements.
