International applicants for a bachelor's degree must hold a secondary-school qualification equivalent to New Zealand's University Entrance standard. The University of Auckland accepts a wide range of recognised qualifications, including Cambridge International A-levels, the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, and many national school-leaving qualifications, each assessed against published equivalence benchmarks. Some programmes also require specific subjects or minimum grades in particular subjects, so check the prerequisites for your intended degree. Applicants must also meet the University's English language requirements.
