About this programme

The Irish language is fast growing in Belfast and further afield. This programme equips students to develop a sophisticated grasp of modern Irish language and culture. Students on the BA Irish and Broadcast will receive intensive tuition in the Irish language with 3-4 hours of language instruction each week. You will choose from a wide range of modules relating to Irish culture and society such as the short story, poetry, Gaelic identity, mythology and Scottish Gaelic.
