About this programme

The four-year Bachelor of Surveying (BSurv) degree aims to produce graduates skilled in the science of measurement, in the practical issues of land planning and development, and in the legal issues associated with land ownership and resource management. It leads to full professional recognition as a Chartered Surveyor.

Entry requirements

International students need a secondary-school qualification recognised as equivalent to New Zealand University Entrance. Widely accepted qualifications include Cambridge International A-levels (typically at least 120 NZ Tariff points), the IB Diploma (minimum 24 points), and many recognised national qualifications assessed country-by-country. Applicants who do not meet direct entry can qualify through a foundation-year programme or one year of study at an institution of university standing. Some programmes require specific subjects, and a satisfactory level of English is required.
