About this programme

The Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) is a broad-based four-year programme in the physical, biological, social and health sciences leading to registration and practice as a pharmacist in New Zealand.

Entry requirements

International students need a secondary-school qualification recognised as equivalent to New Zealand University Entrance. Widely accepted qualifications include Cambridge International A-levels (typically at least 120 NZ Tariff points), the IB Diploma (minimum 24 points), and many recognised national qualifications assessed country-by-country. Applicants who do not meet direct entry can qualify through a foundation-year programme or one year of study at an institution of university standing. Some programmes require specific subjects, and a satisfactory level of English is required.
