Overview This programme is designed for dissertation topics at the intersection of Philosophy and Psychology that would benefit from supervisors from both disciplines. Students in this programme specifically have a primary supervisor in Philosophy and a secondary supervisor in Psychology. Our staff supervise a wide range of the areas within Philosophy and Psychology, including: affect cognitive penetration colour vision direct and indirect perception the nature of illusion and hallucination imagination mental qualities moral psychology pain and suffering emotion philosophy of perception virtual and augmented reality We strongly encourage applications in any of the above areas. Entry requirements
Our regular standard of admission is at least an Upper Second Class Honours degree (2:1) in philosophy, although candidates will usually also have completed or be undertaking a Masters qualification in philosophy.
