This interdisciplinary programme is ideal for students interested in studying the mind from a philosophical and psychological perspective. A key strength of this programme is its blend of courses from both philosophy and psychology, while maintaining in-depth training in analytic philosophy. Our affiliation with the Centre for the Study of Perceptual Experience and our research strengths make this programme especially attractive to students interested in issues relating to perception. It is specifically designed for students interested in the philosophy of mind, but who do not have an undergraduate degree in philosophy or psychology. With a suitable level of attainment, this degree may provide fast-track entry into philosophical or psychological research at the doctoral level.
2.1 Hons (or non-UK equivalent) in any subject. A 2.2 Honours degree will be considered where supported by relevant experience. Substantial, directly relevant experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications.
