Find out more about the MRes Human Geography: Space, Politics & Power in the School of Geographical and Earth Sciences at the University of Glasgow, UK, Our MSc Human Geography: Critical Research Encounters engages at an advanced level with conceptual debates in human geography, cutting edge methodological approaches, and the skills needed to communicate geographical ideas beyond the academy. The course will equip you with the knowledge and skills appropriate to undertake independent research in human geography. Research skills fostered and developed through the course can also be used in a range of contexts, including the public sector, NGOs, trade unions and research consultancies.

Entry requirements

• 1 Hons (or non-UK equivalent) in Economics, Politics, Sociology, Geography, Geographical Sciences, Anthropology, Urban Studies, Environmental Science, Development Studies, Law, History, Psychology, Education, Public Administration, Linguistics, with modules in Research Skills at an average grade of pass.
