About this programme
Our MSci Zoology with a Professional Placement degree builds on the strong foundations of the BSc Zoology to develop your applied research and analytical skills. This additional depth gives you a sharper competitive edge, whether you are aiming for graduate roles in industry or planning an academic career in research.You'll explore genetics, physiology, behaviour and evolution while developing the analytical and practical skills needed to understand animals in their natural environments and in the context of global challenges, including biodiversity loss and climate change.This five-year course is an expansion of our MSci Zoology, allowing you to spend your third year gaining experience in industry. This course is only available by transfer. This is a student-led process and you will be supported by our expert team in securing a competitive placement.
