We'll help you develop your knowledge and prepare you to tackle some of the world's biggest problems, from climate change to the discovery of novel drugs. You'll build a strong foundation in the fundamental concepts of inorganic, organic and physical chemistry. You'll also explore applications in areas such as analytical, environmental, materials and theoretical chemistry. Our chemistry-specific units sharpen your key mathematical skills and develop your ability to design experiments and interpret their results. You'll also gain hands-on experience working with industry-standard equipment in our teaching labs.Careers-specific support is embedded into units. You'll be given advice on preparing CVs, creating professional social media profiles, and on researching companies and sectors.
