Lee Family PhD Scholarships

Who it is for

• LSE is delighted to offer Lee Family PhD Scholarships on a rolling basis due to a generous endowment held by the School from the Lees Charitable Foundation.
• Eligibility To be eligible for consideration for this award you must meet the following criteria: From mainland China or Hong Kong Offer of admission for an MRes/PhD or MPhil/PhD within any academic department Selection for this scholarship is on the basis of outstanding academic merit and research potential.
• There will be one new award available for 2026/27 Scholarship amount The Lee Family Scholarships are tenable for four years and will cover full fees and provide an annual stipend in line with UKRI rates, which will be at least £23,805.
• How to apply To be considered, you must submit a complete application (including references, proposal, marked work etc) by the funding deadline set by your academic department.
