• LSE is pleased to offer the Alf Waddington Scholarship.
• Ms Sue Howes grew up on a council estate in the North of England and graduated from LSE in 1972 with a BA in Sociology.
• She established this scholarship so that other students from disadvantaged backgrounds can benefit from an LSE education.
